Conservation Caravan Safaris is founded and operated by Ombeni Samson Maka and Kirsten Hansen. Ombeni was born and raised in Tanzania. He brings over 20 years of experience as an expert safari guide and cultural liaison. Kirsten was born and raised in Seattle, WA, USA. Her love of travel and passion for animal conservation brought her to Africa. Together we take great pride in providing our guests with the experience of a lifetime.
We are different than most tour operators in that we do not restrict our guests to specific departure dates. Instead, we customize each African safari itinerary to your wishes and limitations. We present many options to help you plan your dream trip. You are limited only by flight schedules and your imagination.
